Cheryl Bowman-McPherson is a Staffing and Search Consultant with responsibilities in recruiting/hiring senior, entry level and temporary employees in the areas of Customer Service, Commercial Real Estate, Engineering, Information Technology, Law, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Human Resources, Purchasing, and Resource/Performance Management.  In addition to recruitment, Cheryl consults with internal/external clients on strategic sourcing, employee relations, applicant tracking and outlining recruitment plans to ensure successful hiring.


Cheryl holds 15+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience. She has worked with major companies such as Cushman & Wakefield, Jones Lang LaSalle, KPMG, Hewitt Associates, PepsiCo, Aramark Services, Discover Financial Services, Chicago Board of Education and Chicago Transit Authority.  She has served on HR advisory boards for the City of Chicago, mentored high school students and often serves as a career coach to many HR professionals in the Chicagoland area.


Most recently, Cheryl was the Talent Acquisition Manager for Cushman & Wakefield supporting various Senior Leaders/Projects in the Commercial Real Estate space.  Prior to C&W, Cheryl worked for Jones Lang LaSalle leading Recruitment Strategy and Diversity supporting various clients within the Firm: Engineering, MES, Corporate Solutions and Brokerage.


Cheryl holds a BA in Speech Communication from Morgan State University and continues her education in the area of Human Resource Management.


Cheryl serves as a Board Member for the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), Chicago Chapter.  She is also a member of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Chicago Association of Minority Recruiters (CAMR).
