Taria Tuccio holds 15+ years of experience in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Administration with Fortune 200 companies. Taria’s expertise includes developing human resources strategies and implementing solutions that increase retention, productivity, and profitability. Taria develops and executes solution focused client presentations, utilizing thought leadership to identify areas of opportunities; driving change and financial impact. Additionally, Taria participates in new business development.
Most recently, Taria held the position of Senior Global Human Resources Manager at General Electric Company, providing strategic and operational human resource leadership for global projects, operations and marketing organizations with multiple locations (domestic and global), over 600 employees and approximately $290 million in revenue. Taria coached and counseled managers on employee issues, conflict resolution, compensation, performance management, organization effectiveness, career development, recruitment, training, union avoidance and participated in leadership, operations, and financial review meetings.
Prior to General Electric, Taria worked for Motorola Mobility LLC, partnering with global multi-site advanced technology, program management, and business process organizations to integrate human resource initiatives with business strategies and goals. Client employee populations ranged from 200 to 400 employees. Taria was accountable for conflict resolution, coaching and counseling managers on employee issues, compensation, performance management, organization development, participating in business communication meetings and career development. Additionally, she developed and implemented human resource programs.
Taria is also currently volunteering with the Taproot Foundation as a Leadership Development & Strategic Human Resources Consultant. Taria partners with nonprofit organizations to provide leadership development and strategic consulting in the areas of human resource capacity build, performance management, board recruitment, advanced volunteer management, core function volunteer recruitment, and strategic staff development.
Taria earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organization Behavior / Business from Northwestern University, a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from ESI & The George Washington University and an Organizational Development Certificate from Linkage, Inc.
